This recipe is great for using meat you aren’t exactly sure about eating on its own. For me, this was deer steak. It is super easy to make curries taste great. This recipe is also AIP friendly!

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4-5

  • 1 – 1.5 lbs Mystery Meat (I used 2 deer steaks)
  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 3-4 carrots
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1/2c coconut butter/manna
  • 3/4c bone broth or water
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Sea salt to taste

Cut up raw mystery meat into desired size pieces and add into a large skillet along with chopped onions and garlic. Steam broccoli and carrots separately while you are cooking the meat. Cook on med-low heat until the meat is mostly cooked and not dry. Add in the now steamed carrots and broccoli along with all the other ingredients except for the kale. Stir until the sauce is thoroughly mixed in. Let simmer for 5 minutes and then add the chopped kale. You might have to add it in 2 sections so it doesn’t fall everywhere while you are trying to mix it in. Once the kale is in, simmer until kale has wilted but is still green. Serve hot.

What kind of meat will you use in this recipe?
